Boob Tube Weekend

Hey all, you have probably noticed why I haven't been online this past weekend, well, aside from celebrating our anniversary together, B and I also partied with some of our friends. It has been so long since I have partied, it felt kinda nice to be away from being a mom and a wife for a while. Lucas was comfortably sleeping while B and I celebrated our friend's birthday downstairs, and although the music was blaring and people were practically screaming, it didn't wake him, good thing B was playing with him all day, and I guess it tired him really good. We spent Saturday night drinking and having fun, despite my intention of getting drunk that night, I didn't, I guess the mother in me wouldn't allow it. I am happy though, at least I had a great time and I know B did too. All day Sunday we spent indoors, watching television. Despite the lack of good movies and shows, somehow, we managed to enjoy ourselves, although I imagined we would've had a better time if we had Direct TV installed. Then maybe our viewing experience wouldn't have been so limited. We ended up watching reruns of Seinfeld, B loves that show, and a couple of movies we already have on DVD. We found ourselves saying, "over a hundred and fifty channels and nothing is on..", every few hours. I am intrigued by the Direct TV System because I heard that it has flexible packages, so you can choose and customize what kind of service and add ons you want on your Direct TV Service, now, isn't that just the coolest. I want to have 150 channels that I actually want to watch. Right now, with our cable company, we have like 150+ channels, but we only really watch 10+ channels, HBO, StarWorld, StarMovies, Velvet, Lifestyle Network, BTV (basketball tv), GMA7 (local channel), CinemaOne (local movie channel), National Geographic Channel (B & I love to watch animal documentaries), Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. we are paying for the other 140 channels and we don't even get to watch them. Most of the other channels are in foreign languages, so we rarely even get to go over channel 42. I am drooling about the channels that we currently don't have like E! Entertainment Television and the Nicktoons Network especially. I can't wait to finally have Directv Service! Any thoughts on Direct TV? Let me know okay? Thanks!
