Last week I skipped Music Monday here because Shemah beat me to a song and I had no song lined up so I just skipped it.
Anyway, if you have already been to Life According to Me, my other blog, then you are aware that I have picked a song with the word "Smile" in it, so in an attempt to have some kind of a theme going on, I chose Smile by Lily Allen as my Music Monday for this week. Although the meaning of this song isn't the same as the one over at Life According to Me, it uplifts your spirits in a different kind of way but that is exactly what makes me love this song. I mean come on, haven't you ever felt happy about somebody else's misfortune?
Especially if that somebody was mean or did something really wrong to you? Well, I have and it does make me smile, whenever one of my frenemies stumble and fall, especially when I know they so deserved it, but mind you, I don't wish them to have misfortune, because I don't want it to come back and bite me in the ass. I just leave everything to God, because I know that we get what we deserve, whether bad or good.
