ANEticpating Movie: The Vow

Based on the title alone, you know The Vow is a love story. I really don’t like romance/drama movies. I’m more of a comedy, romance/comedy, action, action/adventure, fantasy kind of person. I don’t really like watching dramas because it’s all too depressing. I just don’t like tragedy. I cried when I read Romeo and Juliet in high school, I just couldn’t bear how unhappy the ending was and cursed at Shakespeare for not giving the story a happy ending.

My life is dramatic enough, thank you very much, but it’s not that tragic. The last romance/drama movie I watched was P.S. I Love You, with Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank. I loved it but I didn’t like the way it made me feel, I cried buckets during the entire movie, good thing I was only watching it at home on TV. Which is why I am a little afraid to see The Vow in the cinema, I really don’t want to cry in public. Smile with tongue out

So anyway, I’ve seen the previews, have you? Check it out.

The Vow stars Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams and is actually based on true events. If you’re planning to see a movie this Valentine’s Day, and you’re the type who likes to watch romance/drama movies, then this one is a good choice.

50 seconds in, and I knew it. I knew this is going to make me cry. :(
