I was shocked by the news that Whitney Houston has passed away. I just saw The Bodyguard on HBO last Friday night and before I heard the news of her passing I have just watched a re-run of her interview with Entertainment Tonight for a movie that she and Jordin Sparks stars in. And now, she’s dead. She looked perfectly fine to me. I really hope that it’s not another death caused by drug misuse.

Anyway, I am not particularly a fan of Whitney Houston, like I really don’t follow her, but I love her voice and I know all the words to some of her songs.

Farewell Whitney Houston, I hope you are at peace.

In honor of Whitney Houston, I will dedicate this Music Monday to her by featuring her songs that I absolutely love.

I’m not like a super fan or anything. But I can’t explain it, her death affects me and I am getting choked up just writing this. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that listening to her music is making me feel more, or I am actually a fan but just didn’t know it? Or perhaps I’m PMS-ing. I’m just so super sad.
