I’m not much of a dog lover but I do think that little dogs in bags are just the cutest things ever! This trend was started by hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, I think in the early 2000’s, when she was often seen with her dog, Tinkerbell, in hand.

So gone are the days when dogs are confined to their little designer dog bed, nope, today, most celebrities want to have their babies with them at all times. It must not be too comfortable for the pup, but I suppose it is better than having to put it in a leash and force it to walk.

For a time, dogs have been like sort of an accessory, but I suppose it helps more people to appreciate man’s best friend more and it encourages more people to adopt rescued dogs.
