Katrina Halili, 23, started as a finalist in the first season of a reality based talent search called “StarStruck”. She didn’t win, but because of her innate charm and beauty she became famous. She was actually the only one among the StarStruck group who didn’t audition for the said show, someone from the show just came up to her and asked her if she wanted to join, and the rest as they say is history. She is the only Filipina to ever be in first place on the FHM 100 Philippines sexiest women list, twice in a row, for the year 2006 and 2007. Although she started out playing antagonist roles, she is a versatile actress and can also play any kind of role, which she has already proven in the many different roles she played.
This past week, she found herself in the middle of a controversy that tested her in the most cruel of ways. Apparently, a video of her and ex-boyfriend, Dr. Hayden Kho, cosmetic surgeon and known for being Dra. Vicky Belo’s (the doctor of the stars) boyfriend. The first video that came out showed Katrina and Hayden dancing to the tune of “Careless Whispers” in their underwear, they said that they were rehearsing for a show, “Celebrity Duets” which Hayden was then a part of. Then later this week, another video came out, this time it was a video of them having sexual intercourse and in the video, it was obvious that Katrina didn’t know that she was being filmed and she was drunk.
MY TAKE: Poor Katrina, it wasn’t enough that she had her heart broken because she fell in-love with a person who played her and Dra. Vicky Belo, and after 2 years just as her career is at its peak and just as she is moving on, she finds out that the man she shared an intimate act with filmed her without her knowledge with the intent of distributing it to the masses. I can’t believe people give her crap, calling her a whore or a slut. Don’t act like you haven’t had sex before, you people should be ashamed of yourselves, she clearly is a victim, and please, don’t act like hypocrites. Puhlease!
I don’t support pre-marital sex or anything, but come on, let’s be realistic, there are only a handful of people who save themselves for marriage, heck, I was one of them, but let’s not give Katrina a hard time, she isn’t a slut or a whore.
She had sexual relations with a man she thought she loved and who she thought loved her and respected her, it’s sad that she was wrong.
Katrina is clearly a victim because her heart misled her, we’ve all been misled by our hearts before, let’s not judge her because she fell in-love with the wrong person. I know she will get through this unscathed, stronger and wiser, like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton or Pamela Anderson. I’m hoping that they send Hayden Kho to jail, clearly he is a pervert, Katrina wasn’t the only girl he filmed while having sex without the girls knowing. Poor Dra. Vicky Belo, I can just imagine how bad she feels, she has been betrayed by the person she loves for the nth time, I hope Dra. Vicky Belo, dumps his sorry ass, if it weren’t for her, he’d be nobody. I hope that the PRC does revoke his medical license and that he goes to jail. Please legislators, pass a bill that prevents perverts like Hayden Kho from getting away with violating a woman’s right to keep her intimate relationships private. I hope you freakin get raped in jail you pervert son of a bitch.
